Ramraksha is a great support in life. The word "Ramraksha" means "protection by Ram." It is a praise of Lord Ram. Lord Ramachandra is called Maryada Purushottam. By observing the character of Lord Ramachandra, we realize that he set a great example by maintaining the dignity of all relationships, such as son, king, father, brother, and husband. Lord Ramachandra himself recited the Ramraksha Stotra to the sage Budhakoushik in his dream, making each letter of it a mantra and a savior. The sage Budhakoushik wrote it down exactly as it was recited, and that is the Ramraksha.
By washing hands and feet or becoming pure, reciting the Ramraksha Stotra daily sharpens the intellect automatically. No matter how unintelligent a person may be, if they recite it daily, they will definitely see progress after a year.
India's first President, Dr. Rajendra Prasad, was not bright as a child. His memory was average. An old woman living next to his house advised him to recite the Ramraksha. He started reciting it, and his memory improved. His intellect became sharp and keen.
If the Ramraksha is recited with great devotion and concentration, results are seen within nine days. Daily recitation of the Ramraksha generates strength; it protects us at all times. People of all ages should recite the Ramraksha daily; it definitely has benefits. There is a method to recite the Ramraksha. On the first day of any month, recite it once, on the second day twice, and so on, increasing the count, and on the ninth day, recite it nine times. If one cannot praise the Lord, then this human birth is of no use. Various bad habits and vices are reduced by reciting the Ramraksha. Life progresses rapidly. It has a significant impact on life.
Just as there is a brush for brushing teeth, hair, and other things, the recitation of the Ramraksha is a brush for the mind.
