"Those who surrender to me wholeheartedly, I take care of their welfare. Those who do not worship anything else but me, or have no other feelings in their mind except for me, I take care of such devotees." This is the promise of the Lord. If you have this exclusive devotion towards your Guru in your mind, then this promise of the Lord will definitely bear fruit in your lives as well.
In the satsang of Sadguru, there is a part of the meeting, and the meeting is a part of devotion. If we think this way, then the deity is established in that place, in my opinion, and if the deity is established there, then you will definitely develop a taste for satsang or love for satsang and Guru devotion. Those who practice Guru devotion should always remember that the one whom we are devoted to, the one to whom we surrender, is our protector.
In their hearts, there is no dust of devotion; their love is not for individuals but for objects. Hanuman broke each pearl in the food given by Ramrai and threw it away because Ram was not in it. Hanuman had firm devotion and exclusive feelings towards Ram. At times, he would even forget his own body consciousness.
All of you should remember one thing, that we come to this satsang to listen to the blessings of Shri Guru. While listening to the blessings, everyone should understand what kind of feelings arise in their minds. You should practice firm devotion. Surrender to the Lord with exclusive feelings, which will create love for the Lord and necessary respect for satsang. By coming to the satsang meeting, your desired wishes will be fulfilled, I believe.
Otherwise, there is no need to worry. Who experiences this immediately? Those who have special enthusiasm for devotion in their minds. If you all gather for satsang and continue to give the blessings to everyone, then there is no harm in developing an intense feeling in your mind that your Gurudev is in your presence.
