The Lord always exists in an unmanifest form. When they manifest, take shape, and incarnate, they bring with them qualities such as discipline, justice, love, affection, and compassion. They also manifest when needed.
People often wonder why Lord Rama's father died untimely, even though Lord Rama was an incarnation of the divine. It is essential to study the purpose of the Lord's birth to understand this question. From that perspective, it should be considered that Lord Rama's mission was not to save his father.
Lord Rama's mission was to kill Ravana and destroy those with demonic tendencies. Before killing Ravana, many people advised him to surrender to Rama, but the stubborn and obstinate Ravana did not listen. Lord Rama did not engage in deceitful warfare with Ravana. Despite giving Ravana many chances to reform, he did not listen, so ultimately, Lord Rama had to destroy him out of necessity. Those who were with Lord Rama prospered. Those who act and speak in favor of the divine are uplifted, while those who opposed Lord Rama were destroyed.
Lord Rama set an example of how ordinary people should behave while living in the world and dealing with worldly matters. Sita was a powerful force, and Lord Rama was fully confident of her purity and cleanliness. To avoid public criticism, he subjected Sita to the trial by fire. When something takes shape, it must act according to its limitations and cannot go beyond them. This means that it must go through all human rituals. Once the mission is accomplished, the form must be destroyed.
